Panagiotis Korakas is the Head of Cultural Heritage and Blue Synergies for the Isalos.net initiative and Naftika Chronika magazine.
Mr Korakas holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in History from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens.
As part of the Isalos.net team, Mr Korakas has organised and coordinated a multitude of events concerning not only the shipping industry but also the younger generation interested in following a career in maritime.
Since 2021, he has been the editor of a series of yearly historical editions of Naftika Chronika and has written over 200 articles (printed and online) regarding maritime history and Greek shipping heritage.
