The Purposes of the Association of Banking & Financial Executives of Hellenic Shipping are:

(a) The promotion of the role of Greek shipping and its financing.

(b) The promotion of Piraeus as an international center for financing shipping.

(c) The mutual acquaintance and mutual support of the members, the development of the spirit of fellowship between them and the promotion and recognition of their role in the Banking and Shipping area and in society in general.

(d) The study and research of financial and financial issues related to Greek shipping.

(e) The training in financial issues of shipping of its members and the executives of Banks and shipping companies.

(f) The formulation of proposals on issues related to the financial issues of Greek shipping.

Article 3 – Means to achieve the objectives
The realization of the above purposes in Article 2 can be pursued by any legal means. As such, the following are indicative:

(a) Carrying out studies and research programs and conducting conferences and training seminars.

(b) Collaborations with the University Community and other educational organizations for the realization of the purposes of the Union.

c) Development of a website of the Union that will promote and contribute to the work of the Union.
