Nicholas Pavlidis, Head of Shipping at Bank of Cyprus, joined the bank in 2017 to set up and lead the new Shipping Centre in Limassol. Nicholas has 25 years’ experience in shipping finance. He worked for the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) between 2003 and 2016, based in Piraeus and London where he held the position of Senior Director, Ship Finance. Prior to RBS, Nicholas worked at Scotiabank in London, where he held the position of Director, Transportation Finance.

Nicholas is a member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, holds a Masters degree in Shipping, Trade & Finance (graduated 1993) from Cass Business School and a Masters degree in Spacecraft Technology & Satellite Communications from University College London. He also holds a Bachelors degree in Physics from University of Essex.
