Mr Konstantinos Economou has a substantial and diverse experience in the Banking field with specialization in shipping / transportation finance projects for more than 25 years in the national and international environment having worked in positions of trust, in international banking institutions such as the Bank of Nova Scotia, EFG Eurobank, Bank of Cyprus,  Piraeus Bank S.A. and currently as Deputy General Manager and Head of Shipping Finance at Credia Bank.

He holds a Bsc degree in Economics and Operations Management from Lancaster University of England, and a Msc in Marine Policy (shipping & Trade) from Cardiff University of Wales. He is also a certified economist of the Finance Chamber of Greece and has served the Greek Army as a reserve officer of Finance Troops with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. He is a member of the Hellenic Ship Financiers Association since 2002 and currently is the General Secretary of the Board. He is married with three kids.
