Dr Ilias G. Bissias is a member of the Athens Bar, Director of the multiple award winning shipping magazine Naftika Chronika (published since 1931) and the also award winning educational initiative Isalos.net. In 2021 he founded B2Sea, a Media Relations company strongly focusing on the enhancement of the corporate image of the maritime industry. He is also Director of Strategy and Policy of HEMEXPO. He is an adjunct lecturer in shipping management and international maritime policy at the University of the Aegean and at the ALBA Graduate Business School.
