George Laios is the Deputy CEO of the Intermodal Group, which he joined in 2018. Prior to joining Intermodal, George worked for almost 15 years for the shipping department of the Royal Bank of Scotland, while he’s also served as the Business Development Manager of the NJ Goulandris Maritime.

George is also the elected Deputy Secretary General of the Association of Banking & Finance Executives of Hellenic Shipping.

George holds a Bachelor’s degree in Shipping Business Administration and a Master’s degree (MSc) in International Economics, Banking and Finance. Since 2013, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Banking and Financial Executives of Hellenic Shipping,
currently holding the position of the Deputy General Secretary.
