Mrs Frantzeska Moysoglou is a seasoned finance executive in the maritime sector with extensive experience in shipping finance, accounting, and corporate financial management. She currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at Alma Shipmanagement & Trading S.A., where she oversees the company’s accounting and finance functions, including budgeting, loan negotiations, banking relationships, and financial oversight of strategic transactions such as vessel sale and purchase. In parallel, she has also been acting as an external advisor to Starmarine Management Inc., providing guidance on major accounting and banking matters affecting the company and its group.

Earlier in her career, Mrs Moysoglou held key roles in the Shipping Division of FBB – First Business Bank S.A., initially as a Credit Analyst and later as an Account Officer. In these positions, she was actively involved in the evaluation and structuring of shipping loans, financial analysis, preparation of credit proposals, and management of client relationships within the maritime finance sector. Her early professional experience also includes work in ship finance and leasing in London, as well as roles in factoring, shipbroking research, and maritime accounting, giving her a well-rounded understanding of both the financial and operational aspects of the shipping industry.

She holds an MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance from Cass Business School, City University of London, with a dissertation focusing on bank syndication in the Greek ship finance market. She also earned a BSc in Business Administration from The American College of Greece (Deree College), graduating with distinction and being placed on the Dean’s Honor List. Fluent in Greek, English, and French, Mrs Moysoglou combines strong academic credentials with over a decade of hands-on experience in maritime finance and corporate management.
