Dimitrios is a Master Mariner in the Merchant Marine having served in various types of ships (LNG, Bulkcarrier, Tanker, Tall ship, Training Ship, Marine Environment Protection Patrol) and has an all-around expertise in the international maritime industry, with experience in film productions, and leading non-profit social and environmental ventures and volunteer-based initiatives. His latest passions include Regional Regenerative Economic Development, Tall Ship Sailtraining and the preservation of the maritime culture, history, and tradition. His academic background is gained by attending educational institutions such as Capital Institute, Regenesis Institute, INSEAD, S.U.N.Y. Maritime College, Shanghai International Studies Universtity and Athens College.
