Aristides J. Pittas has been a member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Eurodry since its inception on January 8, 2018. He is also member of the Board of Directors and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Euroseas ltd since its inception on May 2005. He is also the founder and President of Eurobulk ltd, a ship management company, since January 1995 and the founder and President of Eurochart S.A., a shipbroking company specializing in chartering and selling and purchasing ships, since 1997. Since 2016 he is also director of Arimanios (Cyprus) Ltd, a private investment Company.

Mr Pittas was Managing Director of Eurobulk from January 1995 till he resigned in June 2005 to become the CEO of Euroseas. Prior to that Mr Pittas held various managerial positions in Oceanbulk Maritime SA, a ship management company (1991 -1994), Varnima International SA, a shipping company operating tanker vessels (1990 – 1991) and Eleusis Shipyards SA (1985 – 1990).

Mr Pittas holds a BSc in Marine Engineering from University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and a MSc in both Ocean Systems Management and Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
