Since January 1, 2024, Alpesh Shah has been serving as the Managing Director of IEEE Standards Association. With a tenure of 13 years at the IEEE Standards Association, Alpesh previously held the position of Senior Director of Global Business Strategy & Intelligence. In this role, he dedicated his efforts to driving organizational growth and advancing ecosystems for accelerated outcomes.

Before joining IEEE, Alpesh served as a trusted advisor to various organizations across industries, focusing on organizational growth. He brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his current role.

Alpesh holds an MBA with concentrations in Strategy, Marketing, and Finance, along with an MSc in IT Project Management and a BSc in Computer Science. In his spare time, he volunteers with Special Spectators, a non-profit dedicated to providing seriously ill children and their families with special days through sporting events across the United States.

Notably, Alpesh was a speaker at IEEE N3XT® 2015 Toronto, showcasing his contributions to the IEEE community.
