Kyoto Carbon Opportunity
• The Kyoto Network is a comprehensive and decentralised eco-system for the global carbon credit industry.
• Our Mission- To make the carbon credit market accessible to everyone, so that any company (large or small), or any individual, can offset their carbon emissions. Also, anybody will be able to participate as an investor to gain from expected future market growth.
• Our Vision- We envisage a carbon neutral world, with complete adoption of carbon offset practices by the blockchain and cryptocurrency communities, as well as the normalisation of carbon offset practices by companies, organisations and individuals.
• Our Plan- To create a comprehensive and decentralised ecosystem for the carbon credit market, using a DeFi business model where our users will be in control.
Kyoto Opportunity
• You can purchase Kyoto carbon credits using your Kyoto Coin. Each Kyoto Carbon token represents either 1kg CO2e or 1T CO2e.
• Using your Kyoto Coin or Kyoto Carbon token, you can now purchase whatever “fractionalised” quantity (minimum 1kg) of carbon credits you wish.
• The minimum purchase quantity of carbon credits from a Carbon Exchange is ordinarily 100 tonnes. Using the Kyoto DEX (De-Centralized Exchange) you can purchase (or invest) in carbon credits, however small or large (fractionalised). This gives you unprecedented flexibility, whether you require carbon credits* (small or large in volume), to offset your company carbon footprint, or should you be looking to invest in the future of carbon credits*.
• When using the Kyoto Network coin/token, every transfer of a Kyoto Coin (token) attracts a transaction tax of 5%.:
i) 2% to be shared amongst KYO token owners
ii) 1% to be added to the DEX’s liquidity pool where KYO tokens are listed
iii) 1% to be used for purchasing carbon offset
iv) 1% to be distributed to environmental charities.
*Voluntary carbon credits are generated from clean energy, forestry, landfill, and biomass projects verified by VERRA and
Gold Standard. Users will be able to select specific projects or a portfolio of carbon credit projects, that they wish to support.

Welcome to our journey into the magical world of writing and note-taking, where anything could happen, even the unimaginable. Our fascinating story begins on the day writing was invented and continues until the day Flexbook, a revolutionary innovation in bookbinding was established as a brand, which is now made available in more than 31 countries around the world.
But let us take things from the beginning.
It all started in Athens in 1960, when Theodoros Chasapakis, a bookbinding artist, was first involved with special editions and handcrafted books creating products that were unique.
In 1994, the company was passed on to the new generation, Grigoria and Dimitris Chasapakis, and while traditional bookbinding did not cease, focus was mainly set on creating a brand that would appeal to both the business market and the consumer.
In 2010, the company made a turn in its marketing and branding strategies with the purpose of establishing itself in the global markets and was named “The Writing Fields” to emphasize the new approach it brought to the world of writing.
Meanwhile, after 2 years of research and decades of experience across the entire spectrum of bookbinding technologies, Dimitris Chasapakis, our Production Director, invented Flexbook, a new bookbinding method, which makes books, notebooks and diaries incredibly durable and flexible.
This innovation was patented and all genuine Flexbook products are labelled with a special hologram in order to protect the consumer against counterfeits.
This method, with its emphasis on materials, design, and innovation, was indeed so unique that it quickly gathered enthusiastic followers all over the world. The evolution of the company has been extremely rapid and today it is a modern vertically organized publisher and bookbinder placed among the top companies in the industry. Aiming at boosting this natural growth, the company invests in developing a global sales network.
With all the elements that define a superior quality product, advanced design by award-winning “k2design” and a philosophy that focuses on life experience, we have created a brand that essentially represents a return to our roots and this fills us with content.
Flexbook has touched people across the globe, who seek values and not just products, people who are looking for a more inward approach to writing or note-taking and a true perspective on life.
We welcome you to our large community.

PROJECT CONNECT, established on May 27, 2015, offers a rainbow of opportunities to young professionals in-the-making to help jump start their careers in the shipping industry they have selected. We facilitate the sharing of resources through professional assistance where needed and have placed over 50 candidates in shipping companies in the last years, via our online CV Database which is the first one in shipping and our referrals.
Μany Founding Members of reputable shipping companies & the maritime cluster share our vision of offering work experience to “young professionals in-the-making”, in order to sustain the excellence in the Greek Shipping Industry.
In January 2019, PROJECT CONNECT successfully implemented maritime knowledge in Greek elementary schools for the first time, through the Cypriot educational program "Adopt a Ship".
The “Adopt a Ship” program connects primary school pupils with seafarers, aiming to educate youngsters about the seafaring profession and the maritime sector. This innovative program involves the adoption of a vessel by a primary school class for one academic year. Throughout this period, pupils communicate with the crew weekly and gain first-hand knowledge of life at sea by sharing their experiences. Students get the opportunity to "travel" with the crew by tracking their voyage on a world map and engaging in interactive learning activities.
