Dr. Fernando Liesa is Secretary General at ALICE, Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration in Europe since its creation in 2013. ALICE is a non-for-profit industry led association based in Brussels with 160+ members reaching the full stakeholders’ groups within logistics and supply chain. ALICE is the alliance of European leading companies and experts in implementing logistics and supply chain innovation. ALICE vision is to support an affordable transition towards zero emissions logistics.

Fernando holds a PhD by University of Zaragoza (Spain). Fernando has worked in the field of knowledge transfer and research management linked to environmental and chemical engineering, process industries, manufacturing and lately (+15 years) to logistics and supply chain management. Fernando worked for Zaragoza Logistics Center (MIT Global Scale Network Center) from 2006 to 2014 as Knowledge Transfer Director and from 2007 to 2014 as General Manager of the Spanish Logistics Technology Platform, LOGISTOP.

Fernando is appointed member of the Digital Transport and Logistics Forum launched in 2015 and of the Cooperative, Connected, Automated and Autonomous Mobility expert group launched in 2019 both of them by European Commission (DGMOVE). Fernando has worked for more than 20 years linked to the European Arena and Institutions.
