Short bio: Dr. Spiros Mouzakitis is a senior research analyst for the Decision Support Systems laboratory of the National Technical University of Athens. His current research is focused on decision support systems based on machine learning / deep learning, big and linked data analytics, as well as optimization systems and algorithms, semantic and enterprise interoperability.
He has more than 10 years of industry experience in software engineering for banking, e-commerce systems and energy suppliers. He has worked as a project manager for 16 years in more than 20 projects related to ΑΙ, big data, open data, energy efficiency, market / impact analysis in the context of ICT technologies, web development and enterprise interoperability. Indicative projects include H2020, FP7, FP6 and FP5 research projects co-funded by the European Union, eParticipation projects and evaluation reports of National projects. He is currently the technical coordinator of VesselAI project. He has published in more than 60 international conference papers and journals.
