Yannis Dimarakis was born in 1967 in Piraeus. He studied at the University of Essex (UK), where he graduated in 1989 with Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Economics. He continued his studies at the University of Warwick where he received a Master of Science in Operational Research. Since 1992 and for 15 years he held managerial positions in Greek and multinational companies in the shipping and consumer products sectors. Thanks to a major training program he attended in England in 1997, he turned his professional interest into the area of the negotiations process as a field of autonomous knowledge. In 2006, he founded the Greek office of Scotwork, the world’s largest negotiating company.
In 2008 he was the coordinator of the affiliate office in Istanbul. Since 2010 he has been a member of Scotwork’s Board of Directors in the United States.
Scotwork Hellas holds the third place in Europe and sixth worldwide in turnover and number of projects.
