{"id":16982,"date":"2026-03-01T14:48:33","date_gmt":"2026-03-01T12:48:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.slide2open.net\/?post_type=person&#038;p=16982"},"modified":"2026-03-03T15:51:06","modified_gmt":"2026-03-03T13:51:06","slug":"antonios-kanellakis","status":"publish","type":"person","link":"https:\/\/www.slide2open.net\/en\/person\/antonios-kanellakis\/","title":{"rendered":"Antonis Kanellakis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Antonis Kanellakis<\/strong> is Executive Director of a privately owned group of companies that includes the Athens-based ship management firms Alpha Bulkers, Pantheon Tankers, and Alpha Gas, which operate a modern fleet of dry bulk, tanker, and LNG vessels serving the bulk, oil, and gas markets, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The Group\u2019s origins date back to 1947, when Antonis\u2019s grandfather, Antonis Angelicoussis, founded the business. Today, the fleet comprises 83 vessels, making it one of Greece\u2019s largest shipowning groups, with more than 3,000 employees at sea and ashore. As part of its ongoing expansion and diversification, the Group has recently invested in 25 newbuildings, further expanding its presence across all three market segments while also entering new shipping markets such as containers and LPG carriers.<\/p>\n<p>Antonis holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in Chemical Engineering from University College London and a master\u2019s degree in Marine Engineering, also from University College London.
