Irene Nikolopoulou is a Greek TV journalist & a senior communication consultant.
\nShe has a Master\u2019s degree in Law and Political Sciences from the National University of Athens. She dreamed of becoming an interpreter as she was fond of foreign languages but ended up in Greek television as a newscaster & anchorwoman for 27 years.
\nShe traveled abroad to study in Oxford, Paris, Luxembourg, Nice and London, attend TV seminars or take exclusive interviews from political personalities and famous artists: Fran\u00e7ois Mitterrand, Margaret Thatcher, Benazir Bhutto, Yasser Arafat, Lech Walesa, Corazon Aquino, Jacques Chirac, Valery Giscard d\u2019Estaing, Luciano Pavarotti, Tina Turner, Shirley Bassey, Tom Hanks, Antony Quinn, Robert De Niro, Claudia Cardinale, etc. www.enikolopoulou.gr
\nShe was the anchorwoman of the official TV programs & events for the Athens Olympic Games 2004 Organizing Committee www.enikolopoulou.gr and the communication consultant of the President Mrs Gianna Aggelopoulou for the international media.
\nIn 2012 Irene produced and presented a documentary for CNBC: \u201cGreece: An Economic Odyssey\u2019\u2019.
\nIn 1990 she was honoured with the United Nations Journalism Award, in 2000 with the European Prize \u201cKonstantinos Kalligas\u2019\u2019 and in 2001 she was awarded as the \u2018\u2019The best Greek newscaster\u2019\u2019.
\nIrene created her own holistic communication company in 2001 About Media & has been working as a senior communication consultant, event manager, media trainer for multinationals or banks such as COCA COLA International, Hellenic Petroleum, HENKEL, SIEMENS, FORTIS BANK, CALYON BANK, NOKIA Hellas, still working for CREDIT AGRICOLE and ABN AMRO BANK.
\nShe received several awards for her communication projects -among others a Gold and a Silver Advertising HERMES Award.
\nIn 2011 she founded two sites http:\/\/www.eirinika.gr which received Silver DIME Award & www.madeingreece.news with Bronze DIME Award.<\/p>\n
