Maria Rapti (1960) joined Euronav Ship Management Hellas as a Finance Manager since its inception in November 2005. In January 2009 she undertook the position of Finance and Administration Manager dealing also with HR issues. In September 2017, Maria undertook the new role of HR Manager, heading the HR as a stand-alone department.
Maria started her career at Ceres Hellenic Shipping in 1979 originally as an administrative assistant and soon undertaking responsibilities as assistant accountant. In 1997 she became responsible for monitoring Owners’ accounts, while in 2001 she became Vessels Accounts Officer and in 2003 she undertook the position of Section Head for Vessel Accounting.
Maria Rapti studied Accounting & Public Administration at Panteion University in Athens and has attended various work related seminars and trainings including Management Centre Europe’s “Managing People” and Coaching courses offered by Henley Business School in London, UK.
