Llewellyn has worked in bunkering, oil and shipping since 1980, as journalist and broker, in London and New York, for Argus, Petroleum Intelligence Weekly, Eperon Petroleum, Albion Oil and Energy Information. He joined MRC in Oxford to launch BunkerNews, before establishing Petrospot in 2003 to publish Bunkerspot magazine, news and pricing services, and highly-respected bunker and shipping books. He has created and run globally-recognised events in 25 countries around the world, including Maritime Week Americas, Maritime Week Africa, ARACON, London International Shipping Week, Portugal Shipping Week and European Shipping Week, and runs internationally-renowned training programmes, including the Oxford Bunker Course and BunkerExperience.
