Yves Kallina is a Senior Vice President within Hamburg Commercial Bank’s Global Sales & Syndicate focusing on shipping transactions. He joined the bank in 2014.
He started his ship finance career in 2003 as a relationship manager with Deutsche Schiffsbank. In 2009 he took over the role as team head for clients in Western Europe and North America. Following the merger of the ship finance activities of Commerzbank, Dresdner Bank and Deutsche Schiffsbank Yves was entrusted with setting up the loan structuring and syndication team. After Commerzbank’s decision to exit ship finance he worked as a senior specialist in Capital Markets Management where he was a key contact for investors discussing solutions in relation to the wind-down of the portfolio.
Yves holds a degree in business administration for Banking & Management from Bankakademie Frankfurt and qualified as a Certified Expert in Sustainable Finance at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
