As managing director of ZEABORN Ship Management and member of the management board Isabelle Rickmers is responsible for the business development, key account management and strategic purchasing divisions.
She studied international business administration in Vienna, London, Madrid and Paris, and gained her early practical experience with international companies, including in Shanghai, London and Madrid. In 2010, she began a trainee programme with the E.R. Group of entrepreneur Erck Rickmers and passed through various roles at investment firm Nordcapital and shipbroker Harper Petersen. Isabelle Rickmers subsequently moved to the shipping company E.R. Schiffahrt, where she started out in the customer relations department. She assumed management of this department in 2014. In January 2015, she was appointed to the management board of E.R. Schiffahrt. After the acquisition by Bremen-based ZEABORN Group and the merger with Rickmers Shipmanagement in 2018, the company has been operating under the new brand ZEABORN Ship Management since 10 August 2018, with Isabelle Rickmers remaining managing director for the business development, key account management and strategic purchasing activities.
