Dr Christos Gizels, is a graduate of the Electronic Engineering Technology Department of the Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston Massachusetts USA (1995). He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Telecommunications and Information Systems of the University of Essex, Colchester, UK (1996) and Ph.D. from the University of the Aegean, Department of Information and Communication Systems in Management and Control Techniques of wireless broadband networks (2009). His research interests are in the field of Wireless Communication Networks, Data Management Applications, Innovation and Digital Transformation. Since 1998 he has participated in numerous research projects funded by the European Union and national resources, as a Research Associate at the Department of Telecommunications Faculty of Electrical Engineering of NTUA, and has numerous publications in international journals, conference proceedings and books. He has worked in various private telecommunications companies as a computer engineer and IT consultant. He is also a certified adult educator in IT / Telecommunications and the Principal Innovation Analyst at IT Innovation Center of OTE Group.
