Slide2Open Shipping Finance proudly hosted its 8th annual conference on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, bringing together more than 400 participants and a growing online audience of 28,000 viewers from 133 countries.
Key figures from the shipping, banking, financing, trade and IT industries, as well as representatives of the State, regulatory authorities and Academia participated in the Slide2Open Shipping Finance 2025 Conference and Concert.
There is never a dull moment in shipping. Slide2Open aims to live up to this adage by constantly acting as an incubator of ideas within the shipping community and beyond.
Our Advisory Board and Working Groups were tirelessly engaged throughout the year and continue to work, contributing to discussions, shaping pioneering standards, generating influential green and white papers, thereby making a lasting impact on the global shipping community.
The 8th Slide2Open Shipping Finance was a 360 Compendium of Shipping, where Conference and Concert united for the first time ever in such context. Shipping has talent! Dialogue and Innovation combined with a strong Artistic Inspiration.
The day was filled with forward-thinking discussions, networking opportunities, and musical performances, as participants from around the world gathered in Athens to contribute to the constructive transformation of the shipping industry, the exchange of ideas and, of course, enjoy moments of fun along the way.
