Yves Kallina is a Senior Vice President within HSH Nordbank’s Global Loan Syndicate focusing on shipping transactions for the core and the non-core units. He joined the bank in 2014.
He started his ship finance career in 2003 as a relationship manager with Deutsche Schiffsbank in Bremen. In 2009 he took over the role as team head for clients in Western Europe and North America. Following the merger of the ship finance activities of Commerzbank, Dresdner Bank and Deutsche Schiffsbank Mr Kallina was entrusted with setting up the loan structuring and syndication team. After Commerzbank’s decision to exit ship finance he worked as a senior specialist in Capital Markets Management where he was a key contact for investors discussing solutions in relation to the wind-down of the portfolio.
Mr Kallina holds a degree in business administration for Banking & Management (diplomierter Bankbetriebswirt) from Bankakademie Frankfurt e.V.
