After a successful career in the Hellenic Navy, George is responsible for Marine Operations with LAROS platform in Prisma Electronics SA.
During his career, he has served as Operations Manager of the Hellenic Shipyards in Scaramanga under the auspices of the Hellenic Navy; Inspector General of the Hellenic Navy; Chief Technical Officer of the Hellenic Fleet; Frigates Projects Director; Commanding Officer for the commissioning of the new Fast Attack Crafts of the Hellenic Navy at the Elefsis Shipyards, while he has served for several years aboard warships of the Hellenic Navy, mainly on Frigates.
Furthermore, he has taught Gasdynamics, Internal Combustion Engines and Marine Gasturbines in the Hellenic Naval Academy, department of Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture.
He holds a degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Hellenic Naval Academy (Piraeus), a postgraduate degree in International Relations, Strategic Planning, Leadership, Management from the National Defense College (Athens) and a Master of Science in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School (Monterey, California, USA). He is Emeritus Commanding Officer of the Support Command of the Hellenic Navy.
